I am a board-certified Emergency specialist with extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of medical conditions, from common illnesses to more complex cases.

As as being a chief physician of Emergency Medicin at Kobe City Medical Center General Hospital, I have also gained extensive experience treating travelers at the emergency department.

Fees for Patients Without Japanese Health Insurance

For patients who do not have Japanese health insurance, medical fees are calculated based on the Japanese national fee schedule.

👉 Our clinic charges approximately 2 times the standard Japanese insured medical fee.

Estimated Cost Examples

• Consultation + basic examination.                          → JPY 8,000 – 12,000
• Consultation + blood tests + prescription.             → JPY 12,000 – 20,000
• Consultation + additional tests or treatments.       → JPY 20,000 – 30,000

Patients with Japanese Health Insurance

If you are covered by Japanese health insurance, standard insured medical fees will apply.

Additional Fees

These fees are charged to all non Japanese speeking patients

• English consultation fee: + JPY 1,000
• Translation device use (non-English languages): + JPY 3,000

If you are not comfortable with either way and are able to bring interpreter,  these fees will not be charged
